Transitioning from Youth Offending Team (YOT) to National Probation Service (NPS) can be quite complicated and challenging to navigate. Although there are protocols, there’s no national standard in how to carry out the transition. Therefore, this research aims to find out the service gaps in transition with the objectives to:

  • Understand the transition process

  • Find out the gaps in this process and where do young people get missed

  • To improve the current transitioning practice/services
