Research Context

This research aims to identify whether Virtual Reality (VR) has much value in CSI industry compared to traditional methods. This will be achieved by designing a series of questionnaires, surveys and a series of experiments using the software and some traditional methods.

With these methods, it is intended to get the following outcomes:

  • Understanding of the current usage for VR.

  • Which VR system (software) provides the best outcome for individuals.

  • Does VR offer forensics what they need?

  • To improve the current Police training needs for CSI.

  • Baseline for other researchers to look further into this area. 

  • New areas for people to research.

Research Methodology

‚ÄčThis will be qualitative and quantitative design research. Sample size and technique are still to be confirmed, however, if you would like to be involved in the research please do get in touch.
