Research Context

This research aims to identify whether Virtual Reality (VR) has much value in CSI industry compared to traditional methods. This will be achieved by designing a series of questionnaires, surveys and a series of experiments using the software and some traditional methods.

With these methods, it is intended to get the following outcomes:

  • Understanding of the current usage for VR.

  • Which VR system (software) provides the best outcome for individuals.

  • Does VR offer forensics what they need?

  • To improve the current Police training needs for CSI.

  • Baseline for other researchers to look further into this area. 

  • New areas for people to research.

Research Methodology
