Research Context

​In progress: The research will examine the variety of ways in which Safer School Partnerships function to extract good and bad practices. The aim is to provide a model for police senior leaders, police practitioners and schools to improve Safer School Partnerships working practices.

Research Methodology

​The research will take the form of the following:

  • Literature review
  • Face to face semi-structured interviews
  • Online questionnaires for practitioners (Safer Schools Officers and Head Teachers/School staff)
  • Data analysis
  • Mapping of current methods of partnership working in Safer School Partnerships
